Terms of Use

These terms apply to MODE Planners and sit alongside the price, billing period, seat allowance and payment information shown when you choose a paid service.

Your account

Keep your login details secure and use MODE only for accounts, households, teams and information you are authorised to manage. Login seats are for named users and access limits follow the plan attached to the workspace.

Paid memberships

MODE memberships are billed in advance for the period shown at checkout. Paid access starts after payment is confirmed. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them.

Plan changes

A higher-priced plan can start during the current billing period after the additional amount shown at confirmation is paid. A lower-priced plan normally starts at the next renewal date so you keep the plan you have already paid for until that date.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal normally leaves your current paid access in place until the end of that billing period. An ordinary downgrade or end-of-period cancellation does not normally create a partial-month refund because the paid service remains available through the period. This does not affect any cooling-off, refund, remedy or other right that applies by law. See the Cancellation & Refunds policy.

Starting the service straight away

When checkout asks you to start MODE immediately, you are asking us to begin supplying the service as soon as payment succeeds. If a statutory cooling-off right applies and you cancel during that period, the amount refundable can depend on the service already supplied and the law that applies to your purchase.

Your planner information

You control what you enter. Keep your own copy of information that would be critical if access to an online service were temporarily unavailable. MODE is a planning tool and does not replace professional medical, legal, financial or emergency advice.

Service availability

MODE may improve, replace or retire features as the service develops. We will take reasonable steps to protect customer data and communicate material changes that affect paid use.

Fair use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to access another customer's workspace, interfere with security controls, upload malicious material or use MODE unlawfully.
